What COVID19 Didn’t Realize

COVID19,

I recognize you COVID19. You are the thief of joy, the source of anxiety, the destroyer of stability. You are from the enemy, the prince of darkness, satan. Your intention is to destroy, kill, and leave destruction in your path. You started to succeed while hoarding, anxiety, and fear spread across the world. Businesses closed, activities stopped, people went into isolation, losing work. Death. Everything is going dark. It starts to appear that you won. The STRUGGLE is real.  What you didn’t realize is the STRENGTH of people.

What you didn’t realize was families coming together, doing activities together instead of running to events. The family unit being repaired.

What you didn’t realize was businesses coming together, providing meals for each other to show appreciation for what they are doing while still respecting social distancing. Factories switching production of product to aid in healthcare. Businesses coming together even through isolation.

What you didn’t realize was parents appreciating teachers and teachers missing their students. You didn’t realize people singing together in unison from their windows while in quarantine. You didn’t realize people pulling together and supporting each other through technology, and social media. A stronger community tribe.

What you didn’t realize was giving people the gift of time. Time to spend with their children doing TikTok, baking, reading, and just being together and learning more about each other. Time to work on ourselves and the gift of time to learn about God and grow a relationship with Him.

God allowed you, prince of darkness, to come to earth and start your destruction for He had a different alternative. God knows the strength of our hearts and knows what we are capable of…capable of kicking you out. Capable of striking you down. Capable of coming out of this stronger and better than before.

So come disguised as COVID19 and bring your worse, for God is with us and knows what we are capable of….coming together. Better than ever.

In Christ,

Struggles and Strengths

Sharing is Caring!
