Burn the Ships

Since Mysterious Ways has been released people have been asking when the next book, “Purpose for the Pain”, will be coming out. Unfortunately, the next book will be harder to write. In “Purpose for the Pain” I hit my lowest low as my biggest fear comes true and the shame swallows me whole. Amidst the darkness God is still there and I see tiny glimpses of light as God shows me the purpose for the pain.
Fortunately, I am a lot stronger now than I was living this book and even stronger than I was writing “Mysterious Ways”. I have learned to lean into God and recognize that I can’t control circumstances. I have learned that my physical health and habits play a big part on my mental health and who you surround yourself in community is key. I am learning that everyone has something they are ashamed of or don’t like to admit, but we all have skeletons and there is freedom in letting them go and giving them to God.
So please be patient while I write “Purpose for the Pain”. It will get done. I’m learning to “burn the ships” and don’t look back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOVrOuKVBuY
